“Prime Minister Surayud Chulanont said classified documents uncovered by People Power party (PPP) leader Samak Sundaravej that plotted a campaign to prevent his party from winning December’s general election are real.Gen Surayud said the documents were details of the one-year work of Council for National Security (CNS).
The prime minister added that the documents contain no information that said the CNS planned to use violence to destroy the PPP or the old power clique.
He also said that it is the job of the CNS to investigate the matter and explain the truth to public.” (Bangkok Post)
