After the motorcycles, here is a updated chart of sales of passengers cars, another indicator of private consumption (one of the component of GDP) followed by the Bank Of Thailand (here).
This chart shows the sales per units (left scale) per quarter and % of change year-on-year (right scale), from Q1 2004 to Q3 2007.
45 633 cars were sold in Q3. Against 45 567 in Q2… And this is what the BOT is calling a “recovery”… ?
