Here we go again… Another big liability for the government.
The Assets Scrutiny Committee (ASC) on Monday recommended the indictment of 47 people, including three cabinet ministers in the present government, for alleged mismanagement of the two-and three-digit lottery.
Consequently, “the three cabinet ministers [Finance, Labour and Deputy Transport] implicated in alleged irregularities in the two- and three-digit lottery scheme may be suspended from their duties if the Supreme Court accepts the case for consideration.”
First step
The court would appoint a panel of nine judges responsible for the case within 14 days.
Second step
Kriangkrai Juengjaturapit, chief judge of the Criminal Division for Holders of Political Positions, said the court would make known its decision on whether to proceed with the case on May 14. (Bangkok Post)
How the government can work properly, bring back the confidence… if in may… the Finance Minister could be suspended ?
The circus shall continue.
