Chart : sales of cars and motorcycles, per quarter, until Q2 2008

Following the chart with monthly datas (until june), here is a chart with total cars (passengers + commercial) and motorcycles sold per quarter, until Q2 2008.

Source Bank Of Thailand, tables EC_EI_015 and EC_EI_016).

Sales of motorcycles grew by 15 % on Q2, compare to Q2 2007.

As for cars (total), the increase is 3,4 %, with +25 % for passengers cars (56 967 units), and -5,6 % for commercial cars (102 531 units).

    Do you have data going all the way back to pre-crises in 1997?

    Table 11 goes back to 1987, not on absolut numbers, but as an index. Year 2000 is set to 100.
