Everything is fine : Abhisit takes cover at infantery regiment

Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has called off a scheduled news conference at 8pm Friday and will spend a night at the 11th Infantry Regiment.

“The press briefing will not be held at 8pm tonight but I will take part in the meeting with the government’s peace-keeping operations centre at the 11th Infantry Regiment to assess the security situation instead,” Mr Abhisit said.

Gen Apirat said the premier and his deputy will sleep at the regiment during the anti-government rally organised by the red-shirt United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD). (Bangkok Post)

Surreal… !

Their accommodations is situated near 2006 coup maker and former national army chief Sonthi Boonyaratgalin’s residence.

A very nice neighborhood. Abhisit and Sonthi could even spend some quality time together. 😉

Also heard that he dressed his Teddy Bear in military fatigues. Ah to live the life of an Elite silly enough to be a figure head, as opposed to the smart ones that stay anonymous.

I think Mr. Abhisit is the only PM in the world that
needs to hide in the Army Camp for so long!

If he is so afraid of being killed he should give up
politics and resigned as PM immediately!
